"Killian
Boers" was established in June 1997. Our first herd sire was
purchased at the first Boer Goat Classic Sale in Sedalia,
MO.
A "Kaptein" Son consigned by N-K Ranch. He was first place
spring buck kid. Junior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.
We also purchased several fullblood does at the same sale
and in September of 1997 made a trip to Texas and purchased
15 top fullblood does.
Since that time we have added does from the herds of Frances
Bird, EGGS, Downen Livestock, N-K Ranches, Stegell & Long &
Hugh Shafer. We also have a number of imported does in our
herd representing Botha Farms, Allen Balson, as well as
several Lancorp does.
Our top does have been flushed after service to proven bucks
such as Pipeline, Big 85, Sasquatch, EGGSfile, and
EGGSorcist, all Ennobled bucks.
We have been producing and will continue to produce the type
of Boer goat that will build the breed.
In 2001, 75% of our sales were repeat business. Need we say
more.
Due to a computer glitch the many photos and information
from the years of 2000-2001, 2003-2005 were erased.
